In the fundraising campaign for Shelter UK, I am highlighting the organisation’s impactful efforts in addressing housing emergencies.
Inspired by the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness in England, my design incorporates the iconic home symbol from Shelter UK’s logo. By integrating this familiar graphic element into the campaign page, I aim to evoke a sense of connection and awareness. Adding this symbol to unconventional living spaces creates a powerful visual statement, reinforcing the message, ‘This is not a HOME’.
I conceptualised a unique approach to explore the theme of ‘shelter’ by strategically placing billboards and posters in locations with shelters such as bus stops, underground stations, and under bridges. My intention was to position them in high-traffic areas where individuals frequently engage, emphasising the presence of shelter while highlighting the plight of those without it.
