‘Desolation. Withering. Marginalised.’

‘Desolation. Withering. Marginalised.’ is a book publication that incorporates photography, editorial design, and a collection of poetry. Inspired by the various ruined forms in the City of London. Through the book publication, it expresses my reflection on the connection between ruins and urban development, as well as the significance and future of ruins that exist in modern urban architecture after the influence of time.

This point of connection is the origin of the creation of urban space. The city that emerges from this point is destined to be converted into the form of ruins. The cities of the future are destined to become ruins, and therefore our modern cities will only exist for a short time, returning to their original form after time.

Plastisphere Legacy

‘Plastisphere Legacy’ is a project that combines Zine, AR Design, and Mapping Projection, inspired by a study of plastic waste in the Thames.

Plastic, a byproduct of modern civilisation, has transformed into a new ecosystem within the human environment. In its trail, there is no complete structure, only fragments forcibly fitted into perceived gaps by human imagination. Through this continuous evolution, a new ecosystem named ‘Plastisphere’ has emerged, formed by plastics and inhabited by microbes and small organisms that have begun to adapt to life on these synthetic materials. The remnants of plastic continuously invade our natural world and everyday lives, presenting a persistent challenge. In our cities and rivers saturated with plastic, the change begins with its omnipresence.
